We are seeking a passionate Administrative Assistant with at least one year of experience to join our team of professionals in the Columbus area. As an Alvis Administrative Assistant, you will provide secretarial and administrative services to the Chief Operating Officer and the Vice-President of Support Services. This position will work under direct supervision of, and in coordination with, the Executive Assistant. To assist with ensuring the most efficient use of the COO's and the Vice-President's time; to anticipate, initiate, coordinate, and follow up on administrative activities and other special projects. To organize, prepare, and review administrative reports; and to assist with preparing reports for presentation. This position will have access to and regularly will work with information of the most sensitive, highly confidential, strategic, and critical nature. The scope and complexity of this position is such that the Administrative Assistant is regularly dealing with diverse matters which require extensive knowledge of the COO's and Vice-President's area of responsibility.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience: 3 years' experience in administrative support or 5 years of relative experience may be considered in lieu of advanced education.
MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
Skills and Abilities:
Computer Skills: Proficient in all Microsoft office applications and skilled in operation of personal computer, peripheral equipment (e.g., copier, fax, printers).
