We're seeking a Global Electrical Power Engineer to lead the design, development, and execution of power distribution systems within a strategic capital portfolio.
This role is responsible for ensuring reliable, compliant, and efficient power systems across multiple manufacturing sites. You'll lead cross-functional engineering teams, manage complex project scopes, and drive innovation through partnerships with top-tier vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the definition and execution of power distribution systems from high voltage to plant-level distribution (5-20MW).
Apply project management best practices to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
Drive change management and ensure sustainable adoption of new systems.
Develop and mentor global engineering talent, building capability across regions.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and maintenance standards.
Partner with operations and technical leaders to deliver tailored solutions using off-the-shelf or custom technologies.Technical Expertise Required:
Deep knowledge of global electrical standards and industrial power systems.
Experience with high voltage systems, AC power in heating/process systems, and SCR/IGBT-based power systems.
Familiarity with PLC/HMI programming and P&ID usage.
Proven ability to design, install, and commission power systems with arc flash and safety compliance.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
10-15 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with strong technical and leadership skills.
Hands-on experience with industrial power/control systems and technical project management.
Willingness to travel globally (20-35%).
