Summary:

Atomica is looking for a driven engineer to join our Process Control team. You'll provide key oversight and engineering support to keep our MEMS foundry running smoothly. This is a high impact role that includes close collaboration with the fab operations team to perform root cause analysis, resolve discrepancies, maintain in-spec products and use statistical process control and metrology tools to verify tool capabilities. This is a unique opportunity to work on a high mix of cutting-edge MEMS devices and AI automated inspection techniques in a growing organization.

This position is to provide engineering-level coverage on the weekend 4 days per week from Friday - Monday.

Objectives:

Develop, implement, and monitor wafer fabrication processes, including operating metrology, lithography, vacuum, electroplating, and wet etch systems for MEMS product development and production

Create process flows and design engineering solutions to optimize manufacturing processes

Edit and maintain technical documentation and training materials

Analyze process performance using observational data and measurements to improve efficiency, output, and safety

Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure quality control and meet manufacturing objectives

Serve as the shift lead for production programs to ensure alignment on lot movement and manufacturing targets

Capabilities:

Master's degree in any Engineering discipline, Physics, Chemistry, or a related physical science field, or bachelor's degree with industry experience

Hands-on experience in semiconductor fabrication, including metrology, lithography, etch, cleans, or thin films

Proficient in data analysis with strong critical thinking skills

Working knowledge of SPC for statistical process control and data analysis

Attention to detail, teamwork, work ethic and communication skills

Lean Six Sigma qualification (preferred)

Knowledge of Labview (preferred)

Background in electrical testing and yield analysis (preferred)

Must be a US Persons under ITAR (citizen, green card holder, refugee, or asylum seeker).

Compensation:

$75,000 - $90,000
