Position Summary
The System Support Specialist II is responsible for providing end-user support for hardware and software across multiple ODW sites. This role involves resolving escalated hardware and software issues, investigating root causes, and implementing solutions to ensure system reliability and performance. Responsibilities include efficiently managing the ServiceNow queue of request and incident tickets.
Essential Responsibilities
Support end-user devices including laptops, desktops, printers, RF equipment and label printers to include setup, configuration and deployment
Facilitate end-user software including MS Office, O365, WMS setup, print drivers and DUO
Perform new user setup, access requests, printer setup, email setup and shared drive access
Diagnose standard issues and identify inefficiencies to initiate process improvements
Develop technical documentation for library supplements to ensure appropriate knowledge transfer and sharing
Document inventory through lifecycle (receiving, deploying, repairing and retiring)
Serve as a subject-matter expert in multiple areas to ensure procedures are efficiently documented and implemented
Work independently and resolve most issues without outside assistance
Remain current on new developments and techniques in information technology
All other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education/work experience preferred
3+ years of IT help desk/desktop support experience preferred
A++ and/or IT-related Certifications (or comparable experience) preferred
Previous experience with RF Scanners and Zebra Printers preferred
Prior knowledge of computer software/hardware and data communications preferred
Desktop OS Support, Microsoft Windows 10/11, HP LaserJet printers preferred rm the essential functions.
