Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Pipefitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in commercial and industrial piping systems and a commitment to excellence and safety on every project. In addition to performing pipefitting duties, this individual will play a key role in coaching and mentoring apprentices, fostering their growth and development within the trade.

Responsibilities

Install, assemble, and maintain hydronic, steam, and industrial piping systems according to specifications and blueprints.

Install and connect large mechanical equipment, including chillers, cooling towers, boilers, air handlers, and related systems.

Accurately read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings.

Lay out, measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required specifications using hand and power tools.

Ensure all work complies with company safety policies and OSHA standards.

Mentor and coach apprentices, providing hands-on instruction, guidance, and feedback to develop their technical and professional skills.

Maintain organization, efficiency, and cleanliness on job sites.

Collaborate effectively with project teams, contractors, and supervisors to ensure successful project completion. Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required

Minimum 5 years of documented commercial or industrial pipefitting experience required for Journeyman consideration.

Commercial construction experience strongly preferred.

Valid driver's license required.

OSHA 30 certification a plus.

Strong blueprint reading and layout skills.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and motivate apprentices.

***Candidates with zero experience may be considered for entry into our Apprentice Program, offering on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities under experienced journeymen.
