Internship Program Description

Southwest Georgia Farm Credit's Summer Internship Program will be a ten-week program beginning in May and ending in July. The program will include hands-on learning experience and provide a full overview of Southwest Georgia Farm Credit's operations. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with our experienced staff in each department including business development, underwriting, capital markets, loan servicing, data analysis, appraisal, marketing, accounting, human resources, and information technology.

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a college degree in a field such as Agriculture, Business, Finance or Accounting

• Highly organized and motivated with an adaptive attitude of teamwork and quality workmanship

• Ability to inter act with a diverse group of people and aptitude in dealing with the public

• Ability to organize and prioritize work in order to efficiently handle projects and activities

• Working hours of 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Thursday
