Key Responsibilities:
Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and explaining procedures clearly.
Review and evaluate images for accuracy and quality according to established protocols.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure equipment is properly maintained.
Follow all safety, radiation protection, and infection control policies.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support precise diagnostic outcomes.
Additional Details:
Average Daily Volume: 18-20 CT scans per 8-hour shift.
Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics.
Support Services Available: Interpretation, IV Teams, Pharmacy, Radiology, Rapid Response, Respiratory Services, and Transportation.
Common Diagnoses: Various cardiovascular diseases.
Equipment Used: Siemens Naeotom Alpha CT Scanner.
Certifications Required: ARRT, BLS.
Relevant Skills: Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ICU experience.
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology.
Active ARRT certification in CT and applicable state licensure.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
Proficient in performing CT imaging procedures and following diagnostic protocols.
Skills & Abilities: Strong technical expertise in operating CT equipment. Excellent attention to detail and analytical capability. Ability to perform efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of patient care. Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
