CDL A Driver- Local (Home Every Night) $26-33/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated CDL Driver to join our team at a leading manufacturer of structural steel beams. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting steel beams to various locations, ensuring the securement and unloading of your own loads. You will be provided with pre-loaded materials and will be traveling to destinations such as Dayton, Springfield, and Mount Sterling, with 1-5 stops per day.

Responsibilities

Transport structural steel beams to designated locations.

Secure loads and ensure the safety of the cargo during transit.

Unload trucks using the provided turn bar.

Re-chain loads as necessary during trips.

Complete 1-5 stops per day at various locations.

Essential Skills

Possession of a Class A CDL.

Ability and willingness to secure and unload own loads.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, and backhoes.

Familiarity with forklifts, skid steers, and front-end loaders.

Knowledge of grading, GPS, and trenching operations.

Experience in general labor, excavation, and earthworks.

Work Environment

The role involves being on the road throughout the day, driving from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. You will work in a company that values a positive and collaborative work culture.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $68640.00/yr.
