About The Position
An acute care community hospital in Ohio is seeking a Locum Pediatric Hospitalist for 24-hour call coverage.
The provider will focus primarily on newborn care, with minimal pediatric and adolescent cases.
This opportunity offers emergency temp privileges for candidates with a clean background, active OH license, and DEA.
Job Responsibilities
Provide 24-hour on-call coverage (8 am - 8 am).
Manage newborns, with occasional pediatric and adolescent cases.
Perform circumcisions, newborn resuscitation, and related procedures.
Interpret X-rays and provide critical input for patient care.
Participate in teaching rounds with medical students as needed.
Respond onsite within 30 minutes while on call. 1664599EXPTEMP
Job Requirements
Board Certified preferred; will consider Board Eligible within five years of residency.
Active Ohio medical license - REQUIRED.
DEA license in Ohio - REQUIRED.
BLS and NRP certifications - REQUIRED.
Experience with newborn care - REQUIRED.
Skills in X-ray interpretation and circumcision - REQUIRED.
UVC/UAC experience - highly preferred.
