Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial Boiler and HVAC systems up to 1000 HP.
Diagnose and repair oil- and gas-fired boiler systems, including control systems.
Perform combustion settings for oil and gas boilers.
Conduct preventive maintenance on all types and brands of boilers and burners.
Service systems in healthcare, hospitality, higher education, and manufacturing markets.
Work with hydronic, domestic hot water, and steam systems.
Handle high and low-pressure steam systems, DA and feedwater tanks, and pumping systems.
Open and close boilers for inspections; clean boiler tubes.
Inspect and clean all boiler safety devices.
Perform start-up and combustion settings.
Log and record temperatures, amperage, and voltage on boiler systems.
Utilize tablet-based service ticket software.
Work overtime as needed and participate in scheduled on-call rotations.
Required Skills & Experience
Journeyman license.
3+ years of commercial chiller/boiler experience.
Experience with commercial and industrial gas/oil heat service.
Commercial and/or industrial HVAC replacement experience.
Healthcare facility experience highly preferred.
Understanding of control systems and wiring, including parallel positioning.
Professional, ethical, and team-oriented with a willingness to grow with the company.
EPA Certification for Chiller Technician
Ability to read electrical/control schematics and technical manuals.
Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
