JOB PURPOSE:
The Marketing Manager will execute integrated digital and traditional marketing campaigns to drive exhibitor, delegate and visitor growth for the energy event in India.
This role requires a hands-on marketer experienced in digital performance campaigns, database growth, marketing automation and content execution for B2B events.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Integrated Campaigns: Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, social, search, digital display, and partnerships to achieve audience and revenue targets.
Digital Marketing Execution: Deliver paid media campaigns (LinkedIn, Google, Meta), SEO optimisation, and remarketing activities. Track, analyse and optimise performance to improve ROI.
Database Growth & Segmentation: Build, verify, and expand target databases using internal records, industry directories, content leads and partnerships. Manage segmentation, scoring, and campaign targeting.
Email Marketing & Automation: Build and deploy automated email journeys and nurture flows to convert leads and re-engage past audiences. Monitor metrics and optimise performance.
Website & Content Management: Maintain and update web content, landing pages, and event listings to ensure accuracy, engagement and strong conversion performance.
Analytics & Reporting: Maintain weekly Excel-based dashboards on campaign performance, audience data and lead generation; provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
Onsite Support: Assist with onsite marketing activities — registration, branding, media relations, and data capture.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Event marketing experience
Minimum Experience: 2+ years in mid manager level in event marketing
Job-Specific Skills:
• Strategy creation and critical path analysis
• Experience in the use of databases in both mass and targeted direct marketing campaigns
• Experience managing the production of mobile apps and online registration systems
• Stakeholder and partner management
• Website user experience
• Budget management, including budgetary responsibility for decision making relating to a wide variety of potential marketing channels
• Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, including: MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with and relate to all levels both within and outside the organisation
• Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience using an email service supplier (ESP) including setting up HTML & plain text emails
