Recruiter: Eisen Hardy - '' Responsibilities: This person must reside in the Ohio Market * Develop detailed fabrication drawings and spool sheets aligned with fabrication LOD 400+ standards.
* Create and manage Revit models including creating templates, schedules of components, parts, and BOMs.
* Produce RTS (Robotic Total Station) points for hangers, sleeves, layout, and mechanical equipment installation.
* Produce mechanical skid drawings and coordinate complex plumbing and piping systems fabrication.
* Estimate design and fabrication hours for awarded projects.
* Participate in BIM coordination meetings and lead clash detection/resolution in collaboration with other subcontractors.
* Work closely with project teams to identify and implement pre-fabrication opportunities to optimize field installation.
* Utilize point data and model alignment techniques for accurate fabrication modeling.
* Interpret verbal instructions, sketches, and point data effectively converting them into detailed fabrication-ready drawings.
* Communicate effectively with project teams and subcontractors to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
* Review and understand complex construction documents and contract specifications.
Essential Skills * Proficiency in Revit and MEP Design.
* 3+ years of experience in mechanical and plumbing system design and fabrication.
* Strong understanding of fabrication standards, CAD standards, and construction specifications.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications * Previous field experience and estimating experience are preferred.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $48.00/hr.
