About The Position

We are seeking a board-certified Neurosurgeon for a locum tenens assignment in Ohio. This opportunity begins Jan 1, 2026, and runs for 168 days, covering adult neurosurgery cases with a 24-hour call schedule—typically one week per month. The role involves both trauma and non-trauma cases and requires proficiency in a broad range of neurosurgical procedures. Qualified candidates must hold an active Ohio license, current DEA, and be certified in BLS and ACLS.

Responsibilities and Duties

Manage adult neurosurgery cases, including trauma

Perform brain bleed stoppage, clot removal, and tumor removal

Conduct trauma repair and shunt insertion or revision

Collaborate with in-house neuro interventional radiology team

Respond to emergency consults and provide operative intervention as required

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies

Additional Information

Board Certification in Neurosurgery required

Active Ohio license, DEA, BLS, and ACLS required

Provider must submit specific dates of availability at time of name clear
