Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and organized Housekeeper / House Manager to oversee daily operations of a private residence. The ideal candidate should have experience in housekeeping and be skilled in cleaning, organizing, and maintaining an orderly home environment. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to manage household tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of residential cleaning to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the home.

Maintain inventory of cleaning and household supplies. Re-order as necessary.

Communicate with household members to understand their needs and preferences.

Ensure the overall safety and security of the home environment --Lock up house, common areas and gates/ setting security systems.

Create cleaning plan for arrival and departures of family and guests.

Maintain petty cash and business credit card receipts for purchases.

Identify and report maintenance issues.

Contact contractors for maintenance and repair work - quotes, scheduling appointments, meet to review work request, approval and final work walk through.

Take photos of contractors work and provide daily/weekly status as requested.

Purchase and stock household items.

Answer telephone and pick up messages.

Grocery shop, pick up & drop off mail.

Deep cleaning - stainless steel, silver polishing, wood polishing, shower glass, fans, deck, railings and window cleaning.

Laundry services - linens, towels, personal garments, outdoor furniture cushions, sending items for dry cleaning.

Pack & unpack family and guest suitcases.

Order and maintain flower arrangements.

Skills

Experience in residential cleaning.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
