Title: Senior Test Manager ON W2(Only GC/USC)
Potential for Contract Extension: Yes / Contract Length: 1 year contract
Position Location: 1400 City View Drive, Columbus, OH 43215/ Onsite required
Job Summary:
The Senior Test Manager is responsible for developing and overseeing comprehensive testing strategies, managing a team of test engineers, and ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. This role requires leadership in testing methodologies, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration within an Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement testing strategies, plans, and frameworks to ensure software quality
• Manage and mentor a team of test engineers, coordinating testing efforts across multiple streams
• Collaborate with development, product management, and stakeholders to define testing approaches
• Identify, mitigate, and manage testing risks throughout the software development lifecycle
• Lead and optimize testing workflows using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft tools
• Analyze test results, generate reports, and communicate findings with actionable recommendations
• Stay current with testing best practices, emerging technologies, and industry standards
• Manage testing resources and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Design, execute, and monitor test schedules and reporting for sprint cadences
Core Skills (Must-Haves):
• Testing frameworks and methodologies (e.g., unit, integration, system, performance testing)
• Selenium, JUnit, Postman, Loadrunner, xRay
• Software development lifecycle (SDLC) knowledge
• Agile testing practices and experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Test strategy and planning development
• Leadership experience in managing testing teams
• Problem-solving and analytical skills in testing environments
• Ability to communicate technical findings to stakeholders effectively
Foundational Skills (Expected):
• Knowledge of software testing in financial services domain
• Understanding of project management principles and risk mitigation in testing contexts
Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Haves):
• Experience with UDAAP and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act compliance
• Familiarity with load testing and performance benchmarking tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Certifications:

Experience Requirements:
• Minimum 7-10 years of software testing experience, with at least 5 years in leadership or managerial roles
