Join Our Team as an R&D Lab Technician!
Are you passionate about science and precision? We’re looking for a dedicated R&D Lab Technician to support our innovative team in developing and testing cutting-edge formulas. This is your chance to work in a dynamic industrial lab environment and make an impact on product performance and quality.What You’ll Do
Prepare and process formulas, including wet samples, applying them to lab metals, baking, and testing properties.
Perform key tests: viscosity, density, weight per gallon, color development, adhesion, cure, solids, flexibility, and solvent resistance.
Follow batch tickets (recipes) with exceptional accuracy for weights and measurements.
Document all work in physical or electronic lab notebooks.
Identify and resolve anomalies or escalate concerns promptly.
Maintain raw material inventory and ensure proper labeling.
Keep the lab organized and equipment calibrated, following 5S principles.
Promote safety by adhering to all policies and best practices.What We’re Looking For
Experience in a laboratory setting, especially wet chemistry.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to follow complex instructions and project plans.
Skilled in documentation and data integrity.Preferred Qualifications
AS or BS in Science (preferred)
Non-degreed candidates considered with 1+ year of wet chemistry lab experience.Work Environment
Industrial lab located within the plant.
Exposure to strong paint odors—candidates should be comfortable in this setting.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
