Job Overview:
The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM), Office of Health Innovation & Quality is recruiting for a Program Administrator to assist Medicaid Health Systems Administrators within its Bureau of Health Research and Quality. In this position you will perform the following job duties\:
Act for administrator by responding to inquiries from Managed Care Plans, other state agencies or advocacy organizations related to bureau projects (e.g., health outcomes improvement; healthcare research), programs and meetings
Develop quality performance measures for bureau health services projects
Manage timely updates of bureau milestones using bureau’s assignment tracker
Develop tracking and quality assurance sign-off system to manage bureau’s external communications
Ensure incoming and outgoing vendor reports are accurately and timely routed to appropriate bureau staff
Conduct staff meetings on bureau projects to assess progress, resource allocation, and document organization
Serve as a resource to bureau staff
Preferred qualifications include expert skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with experience in a virtual business communication platform such as Microsoft Teams.
