Job Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT scans, including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, vascular CTA, and brain perfusion studies.
Operate and maintain Siemens CT equipment to ensure optimal imaging performance.
Prepare and/or administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs as needed.
Ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper positioning during imaging procedures.
Accurately document exams and maintain records using the Epic charting system.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members in a fast-paced Level I trauma environment.
Participate in rotating on-call assignments and provide weekend coverage as scheduled.
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of recent CT technologist experience in an acute care or emergency department setting.
Proven experience working in Level I trauma environments.
Proficiency with Siemens CT scanners (required).
Proficiency with Epic electronic charting system (required).
Strong knowledge of contrast media protocols and IV access techniques.
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills.
Certifications & Licenses:
ARRT (R) - Required
ARRT (CT) - Preferred
BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required
Active and valid state radiologic technologist license - Required
