As part of a planned succession in its strategic management body, we are seeking a new member of the Board of Directors (m/f) to commence on June 1, 2026.
We are looking for a dedicated and principled individual with sound leadership experience and strategic vision, who possesses proven expertise in digitalization/AI/IT/technology and has strong ties to the healthcare sector.
They actively contribute to the future-oriented development of KSB, constructively support the management team as equals, and make an effective contribution to integrative, responsible, and forward-looking governance in the healthcare sector.
Tasks Strategic co-responsibility for the digital development of a central hospital with high technological ambitions Providing professional support to management in the implementation of digitization projects, innovation strategies and data-based process optimizations.
Evaluation of IT/AI projects with regard to supply, efficiency, collaboration and governance Performance of the supervisory function in the sense of responsible public corporate governance Participation in approximately 10 meetings per year, including strategy and innovation conferences, as well as regular owner meetings.
qualification Demonstrable experience in developing or managing digital strategies at the executive or management level Solid knowledge in areas such as IT, data architectures, AI or digital platforms Technological leadership experience from complex organizations (e.g., hospitals, insurance companies, public sector, industry) University degree in computer science, business informatics, data science, engineering or similar.
Additional qualifications in business administration, public management or related fields are an advantage.
