Job Title: PACU Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Nursing

Location: Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts (02557) - Martha's Vineyard

Healthcare Setting: Surgical Services - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/29/2025 - End: 3/29/2026)

Nursing Shift: 12 Hour Any, with call coverage on nights, weekends, and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990-$2130

Shared Housing Provided: (No pets or guests; car required for transportation) PACU RN Qualifications

Active Massachusetts RN license

At least 1 year of recent PACU nursing experience

BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Flu vaccine required

Ability to participate in on-call rotation (nights, weekends, holidays)

Compliance with onboarding requirements: background check, health screenings, skills checklist, references

Reliable car required for local transportation PACU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia after surgical procedures

Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition

Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians

Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams for safe patient transitions

Educate patients and families about post-operative care and recovery

Participate in call coverage for nights, weekends, and holidays

Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies and procedures
