Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 13-week inpatient rehab assignment, requiring 1 year of experience and relevant certifications. Responsibilities
Position is based in an inpatient acute rehab unit with 15 beds
Day shift schedule from 08:00 to 16:30
13-week contract assignment
Patient population includes individuals with physical, emotional, and cognitive rehabilitation needs
Required to work one weekend per month
No on-call responsibilities
Design and implement individualized care plans for rehabilitation patients
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
Educate patients and families on care and rehabilitation strategies
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team within the rehab unit
Documentation required includes skills checklist and two professional references
Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced rate due to facility radius rules
COVID-19 vaccination is not required
All positions are offered via an auto-offer process Requirements
Current, active Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient or acute rehab experience
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
Relevant certifications must be provided
US Social Security Number and home address required
