Travel Nursing Job Details

Location: Wilson, NC 27893 – Located just 45 miles east of Raleigh, close to the North Carolina coast, and near major universities. Enjoy local attractions like historic Fleming Stadium and Lake Wilson.

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Start Dates: 11/24/2025 or 12/8/2025

Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Shift Duration: 12 Hour Nights

Hours per Week: 36

Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,570–$1,680 per week

Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (ER)

Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse

Orientation: Bi-weekly

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license – North Carolina or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience required

BLS certification required

ACLS and PALS certifications preferred

Experience with Meditech electronic medical records preferred

Must reside at least 60 miles from Wilson, NC to qualify as a travel nurse

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department

Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care based on acuity and clinical protocols

Administer medications, treatments, and emergency procedures as ordered

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members

Accurately document patient care in Meditech electronic medical records

Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with hospital policies
