Summary:
The PHPN Athletic Trainer (AT) specializes in the management, prevention, and recovery of injured patients within a high volume physician practice. The AT collaborates with doctors to provide emergency and follow-up care and develop injury prevention and treatment programs for injured patients. Athletic trainers also provide a vital communication link between the injured athlete, the physician, the coach, and sometimes the athlete's family to determine when it's right to return to practice and competition.

BACHELORS OF SCIENCE DEGREE IN ATHLETIC TRAINING REQUIRED
CURRENT PENNSYLVANIA ATHLETIC TRAINER LICENSURE (MUST HAVE PRIOR TO START OF THE SUMMER FOOTBALL SEASON)
HEALTHCARE PROVIDER CPR CERTIFICATION THROUGH THE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION WITHIN THE FIRST YEAR OF HIRE
