Position Highlights:

Guaranteed full-time hours

Flexible schedule within retail store operating hours

Occasional weekend and afternoon shifts

Availability required: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM, 7 days a week

Pay Rate: $24.00/hour

We are currently hiring for the following schedule (39 Hours Per week):

Tuesdays: 1:00 PM – 9:15 PM

Wednesdays: 1000 AM - 9:15 PM

Thursdays: 1:00 PM - 9:15 PM

Fridays: 1000 AM - 9:15 PM

Please note: shift times are subject to change based on operational needs.

Responsibilities for a Retail Security Guard:

Act as a visual deterrence to theft and antisocial behaviour

Ensure safety of staff and customers

Identification of shoplifters and those violating rules and laws

Coordinate response to incidents including medical emergencies

Composition of detailed incident reports in English

Qualifications for this position:

A valid security guard license and first aid card

Available to work flexible hours

A valid Ontario Security Guard Licence

Available 7 days per week between 0900-2200

Have a clear criminal background

Be eligible to work in Canada

Demonstrate excellent customer service skills

Previous certification in NVCI or Verbal Intervention an asset

Be physically able to take and pass a Use of Force class
