Trystar's team members are our most important asset, we are in search of an Electrical Engineer to join our team. As part of the engineering team, the Electrical Engineer will have the opportunity to support and improve maintenance series production products. In this role you get to troubleshoot existing product designs as part of the day-to-day manufacturing support, lead root cause analysis, define and implement permanent and robust solutions to support continuous improvement, create or update existing electrical engineering documentation to meet and exceed customer expectations
This position reports directly to the Sustaining Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, diagnostic and root cause analysis related to electrical systems
Provide technical support during the manufacturing, installation, testing of electrical systems
Vet new opportunities and recommend product changes/improvements to enhance product manufacturability and/or reduce cost
Manage several different assignments simultaneously
Establish enterprise-wide technical standards and guidelines
Develop or change engineering technical documents (wiring diagrams, schematics, electrical diagrams, and specifications)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and controls engineers
Maintain electrical lessons learned data base
Consult with Senior Electrical Engineers, Product Owners & R&D, to complete calculations, drawings and specifications.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements
Stay updated on the latest research and technologies.
Job Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical engineering or related field
Minimum five (3) years of experience working in a manufacturing environment (private, public, government or military)
Up to 10% travel
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Strong communications skills (oral, written and presentation) with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization
Experience in reviewing design drawings created by others
Ability to adapt & thrive in a fast-paced/high growth work environment
Electrical system including Docking Stations, Loadbanks, Power Distribution, Switchboards knowledge
Experience with ERP and Electrical CAD software
Microsoft Office proficient
