Position Overview

The Superintendent will oversee construction operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role involves coordinating activities among various teams, managing resources, and enforcing quality standards in metal fabrication and structural steel erection.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise all construction activities on-site

Manage project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones

Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards

Oversee the work of metal fabrication and erectors of structural and miscellaneous steel

Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the construction process

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of workQualifications

Proven experience as a Superintendent or similar role in construction

Strong knowledge of metal fabrication, structural steel, and construction processes

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Familiarity with safety regulations and practices

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field preferred
