Position: RN-OR-Operating Room (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting.

Assist in surgical procedures and ensure patient safety.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff for optimal outcomes.

Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.

Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during surgery.

Evaluate and improve personal performance based on feedback.

Utilize performance metrics to enhance service delivery.

Document patient care activities and surgical procedures accurately.

Assist in training new staff and sharing best practices.

Adapt to changing environments and patient needs effectively.

Engage in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.

Experience/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia with Operating Room experience.

Proven ability to assist in surgical procedures effectively.

Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

Experience in maintaining a sterile environment and safety protocols.

Ability to monitor patient vitals and respond swiftly during surgery.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with medical staff.

Experience in documenting patient care accurately and thoroughly.

Adaptability to changing environments and patient needs.

Engagement in team meetings to enhance patient care strategies.

Willingness to assist in training and mentoring new staff.
