Contracts Manager, remote

Contracts Manager – Remote, for top tier global la firm. This role is part of the Accounting team and administers the contract management lifecycle. This role is a combination of hands-on contract drafting and negotiation with strategic team leadership and workflow management and is responsible for contractual compliance, mitigating risk, and supervising a team.

Responsibilities: Manage the lifecycle of vendor agreements from inception to renewal or termination. Direct a team (Contract Analyst, a Senior Client Agreement Advisor, and three Client Agreement Advisors.) Manage distribution of assignments/ workflow for the client agreement team. Draft/review/negotiate contracts with vendors ensuring terms are favorable. Analyze/minimize potential legal and financial risks associated with contractual terms. Monitor contract performance/compliance with legal standards, industry regulations, and firm policies. Main liaison for all contract-related communications with external parties. Lead the resolution of any contractual issues or disputes that arise.

Position Requirements: In depth knowledge of and direct experience with commercial contracts and contract law, terms, and conditions. Experience with strategy, negotiations, contract management/administration and pricing analysis. Knowledge of commercial/business practices to manage contracts. Prior experience evaluating and mitigating risk in contracts. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills. Advanced knowledge of cost containment strategies. Bachelor’s degree or above required. At least 8-10 years’ experience preferred. Salary $97k - $55k commensurate with experience and location.
