Large Animal Vet

Summerhill Vets is a long-established mixed practice based in Nenagh. We opened our newly built premises in July 25.

We are a friendly, progressive team with:

6 large animal vets (majority dairy)

3 companion animal vets

3 registered veterinary nurses

4 office/admin staff

We are now looking for a full-time Large Animal Vet to join our team. We are happy to be flexible for the right candidate.

The Role

Primarily large animal, predominantly dairy

An interest in companion animals is a bonus but not essential

Herd health–focused practice:

4 vets have completed a Cert in Dairy Herd Health

2 vets are currently undertaking the same

Regular clinical club and in-house CPD

Rota & Time Off

1-in-6 rota

Day off in lieu for weekend worked

Incentivised on-call
