Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to join a high-volume, fast-paced Emergency Department in Lima, Ohio.

This opportunity offers exposure to a Level II Trauma Center, a collaborative physician/APP practice model, and the chance to deliver high-impact care in a respected regional hospital.

Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing

Contract Type: Locum Tenens (1099)

Scheduling: 12-hour shifts Full-time or part-time availability accepted Shift Details

Physician Coverage: 53 hours/day

APP Coverage: 48 hours/day

Typical APP Shifts:

6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

9:00 AM - 9:00 PM

6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Monday-Friday) Department Profile

Hospital Medicine Program: Yes

Team Model: Integrated MD + APC with collaborative decision-making

Support Staff: Dedicated nursing team, respiratory therapy, lab, radiology, and specialty backup Candidate Requirements

Degree: Master's in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies

Licensure: Active Ohio license (required)

Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, and PALS (required)

Experience: Minimum 2 years of emergency or urgent care experience preferred

Board Certification: NCCPA (PA) or ANCC/AANP (NP)

DEA: Active & unrestricted
