This position is ideal for an individual with a strong background in residential construction management, project coordination, and subcontractor oversight. The Construction Manager will play a critical role in ensuring projects are executed efficiently, maintaining high-quality standards, and facilitating smooth communication between clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Position Overview:

The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, from site preparation to final project completion. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple projects, coordinate with trade partners and vendors, and ensure all work meets The Bellepoint Company's high-quality standards. The Construction Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractors and on-site teams while ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Execution:

Oversee all day-to-day construction activities for assigned projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.

Manage and enforce project schedules to ensure on-time completion.

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers on-site.

Ensure jobsite cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety protocols.

Client & Stakeholder Communication:

Serve as a key point of contact between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams regarding project updates and milestones.

Conduct regular site meetings to review project progress and address any concerns.

Provide timely updates to clients, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.

Quality Control & Inspections:

Conduct pre-installation walk-throughs with subcontractors to clarify scope and expectations.

Perform routine inspections throughout the construction process to ensure work meets high-quality standards.

Identify and address potential issues proactively to avoid delays or defects.

Schedule & Budget Management:

Monitor project timelines and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate unforeseen challenges.

Track and manage material orders, ensuring timely delivery and cost control.

Work closely with the project management team to ensure projects stay within budget parameters.

Trade Partner & Vendor Coordination:

Manage relationships with subcontractors and vendors to ensure accountability and high-quality performance.

Oversee trade partner scheduling, ensuring efficient project workflow.

Enforce contract terms and expectations for all subcontracted work.

Compliance & Safety Oversight:

Ensure all work adheres to local building codes, permit requirements, and safety regulations.

Manage on-site safety procedures and ensure all subcontractors comply with company policies.

Coordinate inspections with local building departments and address any compliance issues promptly.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain detailed records of project progress, subcontractor performance, and any issues encountered.

Utilize construction management software (e.g., CoConstruct, Buildertrend, Project Dashboard Report) to track project updates.

Provide reports on project status, challenges, and recommended solutions to management.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in residential construction, project management, or site supervision.

Technical & Professional Skills:

Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and quality standards.

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., CoConstruct, Buildertrend, Procore).

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.

Leadership & Communication:

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage subcontractors and vendors effectively.

Strong communication and problem-solving abilities to address challenges efficiently.

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, trade partners, and internal teams.

Problem-Solving & Detail Orientation:

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
