FULL TIME DIESEL MECHANIC

Total Care Engineering located in Springvale is seeking for an experienced full time Diesel Mechanic.

Tasks Include:

• Servicing of heavy and medium rigid Isuzu and Hino trucks and equipment as per manufacturer’s instructions.

• Diagnosing all Electrical and Mechanical defects of vehicles and determine the repair plan.

• Replacing vehicle parts, removing engines, transmissions, steering mechanisms and testing components.

• Using engine scan tools to detect engine and other vehicle defects.

• General maintenance and repairs.

• Diagnose and Repair mechanical faults

• Diagnose and Repair electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults

• Modifications and minor fabrication

• Have the ability to organise and time manage jobs in the workshop

• Have the ability/experience in record keeping and completing

• Have the ability to foresee possible issues with machines and take actions to help prevent failures

Skill level required:

• Certificate III in heavy commercial vehicle mechanical technology or equivalent.

• Minimum of one-year heavy vehicle running repairs and maintenance experience.

• Experience in vehicle servicing and Diagnostic equipment.
