Salary Information The starting pay rate for this position is between $55.96 - $60.52 per hour ($116,396 and $125,881 annually), depending on experience and qualifications, plus excellent benefits.

The classification of this position is Management Information Chief, which is in Pay Schedule 70, Pay Range 02.

Pay will be set in accordance with the State of Wisconsin Compensation Plan in effect at the time of hire.

Starting pay for current state employees may vary based on applicable provisions in the Compensation Plan.

Job Details Background Checks: Due to the nature of this position, final candidates will be subject to criminal background, fingerprint, and tax compliance checks.

I-9 Requirements: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States (i.e., a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, an alien authorized to work in the U.S.

without sponsorship) at the time of appointment.

Probationary Period: A 2-year Career Executive trial period will be required.

Qualifications Minimum-qualified candidates will have experience in each of the following: * Managing, supervising, or leading staff in a high-volume document processing environment.

* Overseeing activities (e.g., supervising, directing, or organizing) in document capture operations (e.g., scanning/imaging) using high-speed, and/or high-volume scanners.

* Leading process improvement initiatives in a high-volume document processing environment.

Well-qualified candidates will have experience in a minimum of two (2) of the following (in addition to the minimum qualifications): * Managing, supervising or leading staff in tax processing operations.

* Collaborating with technical staff on system improvements or troubleshooting.

* Managing or acting as the key contact for vendor relationships related to paper document processing.

* Experience managing a staffing budget (e.g., with permanent and/or temporary staff) with production targets.
