We are seeking a highly strategic and creative Senior Marketing Manager to own and execute our local marketing vision. This pivotal role will be responsible for building our brand reputation, forging strong community connections, and driving customer acquisition through powerful social media narratives, strategic public relations, and local events.

Key Responsibilities:

· Social Media Strategy & Execution:

· Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy and daily operation across key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube) to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.

· Manage community engagement, responding to comments and messages in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.

· Develop and manage influencer & ambassador partnerships to expand reach and authenticity.

· Analyze performance metrics and continuously optimize strategy based on data-driven insights.

· Public Relations (PR) & Communications:

· Develop and execute a proactive PR strategy to secure positive media coverage in top-tier Australian lifestyle, tech, transport, and business publications.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists, bloggers, and industry influencers.

· Manage all press inquiries, develop press kits, and draft compelling press releases on top of HQ's guideline and materials.

· Develop crisis communication plans and act as a key spokesperson when required.

· Local Events & Activations:

· Conceive, plan, and execute a calendar of local events and activations, including product launch events, pop-ups, community rides, and partnerships with local festivals and businesses.

· Manage all event logistics, budgeting, promotion, and on-the-day execution to ensure a seamless brand experience.

· Measure and report on event ROI and brand impact.

· Brand & Community Management:

· Ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across all marketing channels and touchpoints.

· Foster a strong, loyal community of riders and brand advocates.

· Monitor brand sentiment and market trends to identify new opportunities.

· Budget & Reporting:

· Manage the local marketing budget effectively, ensuring maximum ROI on all activities.

· Follow the HQ and regional campaign strategies, execute the local marketing campaign with collaboration with local channels

· Provide marketing strategy, plans, and regular reports to the General Manager and HQ Marketing Department on marketing performance, KPIs, and strategic insights.

Person Specification / Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

· 5-7+ years of experience in a senior marketing role, with a proven track record in managing social media, PR, and events.

· Native or bilingual proficiency in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Chinese language is preferable. Based in Sydney/Melbourne

· Deep, demonstrated understanding of the Australian consumer market, media landscape, and cultural nuances. Prior experience marketing to an Australian audience is essential.

· Expert knowledge of all major social media platforms, analytics tools, and social media management software.

· Established network of media contacts within Australia is highly desirable.

· Proven experience in planning and executing successful event activations from concept to completion.

· Strong creative vision with experience in content ideation and production (photo & video).

· Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

· Data-driven mindset with the ability to derive insights from metrics and translate them into actionable strategies.

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
