Description
• Receive, unpack, and put-away incoming materials. Including CSM, tools, and equipment.
• Disperse product as needed to operations and area departments.
• Conduct cycle counts of finished goods, components, non-VMI, and raw materials.
• Review min/max stocking levels in cabinets, crib, store; submit orders to supply chain as needed.
• Work closely with Supply Chain and Operations by running various reports related to deliveries and receipts.
• Assist Operations Master Scheduler to optimize scheduling.
• Understand and follow all company policies, processes, and procedures pertaining to receiving and operations.
• Practice safety measurements to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
• Actively participate in various continuous improvement projects, cost savings, and
lean initiatives.
• Ability to learn future scanning system.
• Support and backup Shipping Coordinators as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in material coordination.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Experience working in an ERP/MRP system; Job Boss preferred.
• Experience or understanding of receiving and shipping in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience in managing inventory, tracking part locations for multiple areas, and maintaining.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of shipping and receiving procedures.
• Minimum 2 years' Fork truck driving experience and ability to obtain license (in house).
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift 30-50 pounds continuously.
