Due to engineering departmental growth, they are looking for an experienced days maintenance engineer.

Role and Responsibilities: * Maintain all reactive and schedule maintenance on production machinery * Working alongside and supported by shift engineers for breakdowns on production lines * Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs * Role has a big focus on reliability engineering, continuous and process improvements * Ensure the SAP system is kept up:to:date with relevant information * Ordering of spares and parts to budget, manage service contractors when they are on site * Scheduling and planning of all maintenance and PPM activities * Flag up anomalies on machinery and equipment, report reliability and asset care management Knowledge, Skills and Experience: * Looking for a multi:skilled engineer : able to fault find electrically and mechanically * Must have worked with production and packaging machinery * At least 5 years experience outside of apprenticeship * Ideally have competed a formal apprenticeship scheme * NVQ or City Guilds qualified to level 3 or higher * Have a flexible approach to working hours, cover extra hours and different shifts if needed * Computer literate : able to use SAP systems * Experience of working on hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, control panels, gearboxes * Beneficial if able to do welding, fabrication and fitting work * Passionate about reliability engineering, continuous improvements, asset care management please / resume to . : Chris Gumm : 010 438 If you are interested in this position please click apply.
