assessment, evaluation, treatment planning with the patient's treatment team, and treatment services including individual and group therapy). This person must demonstrate age- and culture-specific treatment competencies and be competent in the provision of psychological services as needed, as described in LSH's policies and procedures.

The person in this position may also be asked to help treatment teams provide supportive activities for patients to help patients meet their discharge criteria and treatment goals.

Additional duties may include giving out discharge surveys to patient, updating comprehensive integrated treatment plan and helping patients develop safety and wellness plans prior to discharge.

Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: Provides psychotherapy/counseling sessions: * Conducts individual and/or group therapy sessions, or psychosocial sessions, for patients in accordance with established best practices.

* Conducts counseling sessions for patients on an as-needed basis.

* Provides crisis intervention as needed.

* Documents services provided as required by LSH policy.

Collaborates in treatment planning: * Attends treatment team meetings and communicates with treatment team as need to discuss patient issues.

* Provides psychological information and treatment suggestions for patients to the treatment team.

Continues professional growth and development: * Attends Psychology Department Meetings, in-service training sessions, and continuing education offerings, both on and off campus.

* Maintains licensure.

* Performs testing and/or diagnostic/mental status interviews of patients for ongoing assessment as licensure level allows.

* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: * Positions at Mental Health Facilities require licensure at time of hire.

* Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology, Licensed Master's Social Worker, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker * Some positions require an approved drug test unless the incumbent is moving from one safety-sensitive position with the same agency performing substantially similar duties.

* CPI Certification and maintain certification throughout employment.

Preferred Qualifications: Post-Offer, Pre-employment Requirements: * Ability to pass a KBI background and pre-employment drug test.
