The candidate will contribute to the efficient management of securities custody processes by supporting administrative activities related to physical certificates of mutual funds and other instruments, as well as the dematerialization of foreign securities. The role involves ensuring accurate recordkeeping, managing statistical data, and applying knowledge of custody regulations and mutual fund operations. The intern will actively collaborate with team members to facilitate process improvements and change initiatives, gaining practical experience in a dynamic financial environment.
Tasks and responsabilities:
Manage incoming and outgoing physical certificates, including coupons and dividends
Perform accounting in CAD securities procedures and update registrations in internal databases
Handle Amundi fund certificates, including printing and annulment
Oversee the dematerialization process for foreign securities
Collect, organize, and manage statistical data
Manage registry and events in the Recordkeeping tool and provide inventory reports to clients
Verify ownership of assets held by funds in compliance with regulatory requirements
Studies & experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Economics
At least 6 months experience in the Financial Industry
Language skills:
Italian – C2
English – B2
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
Basic Knowledge of non- financial instruments that can be held by AIF and UCITS funds
