Business Solutions Analyst

Position Overview

As a Business Solutions Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions, particularly focusing on serialization and the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA). You will intricately gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring that we meet our organizational goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Your ability to communicate effectively will enable you to negotiate across various teams and drive innovative solutions within our company.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the DSCSA team by assisting with onboarding clients and customers.

Build and sustain relationships within the IT organization to deliver effective solutions aligned with DSCSA requirements.

Conduct thorough data analysis to elucidate business strategy requirements.

Draft and communicate business requirements and functional specifications necessary for implementing solutions.

Evaluate customer operations to identify strengths and potential areas for improvement.

Document current business processes and models accurately.

Assist in redesigning business processes as needed.

Contribute to business case development through research and data collection.

Develop user test cases and validate testing outcomes.

Tackle problem resolution independently and escalate when necessary.

Keep internal clients updated on issues and their resolutions.

Ensure that IT solutions meet client needs regarding DSCSA compliance.

Mentor and share knowledge with less experienced team members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

3-5 years of relevant business or technical experience.

Understanding of business operations and systems requirements processes.

Familiarity with communication standards like EDI or EPCIS related to DSCSA.

Collaborative team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, JIRA) and eagerness to learn new technologies.

Ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing project requirements.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Capability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
