Job Description Summary: Under relatively close supervision, the BMET I provides planned maintenance (PMs), electrical safety testing, repairs, calibration, installation, routine and emergency service on general diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices, as assigned by the Supervisor.

Responsibilities And Duties: 1.

70% Performs schedule preventive maintenance PM s and electrical safety testing on non-life support clinical medical devices low and medium risk k 2.

10% : Performs corrective maintenance, assists in installations, maintains and inspects a diverse range of therapeutic and diagnostic clinical devices.

3.

5% : Maintains documentation on new equipment, inspections and repairs.

4.

5% : Schedules and oversees third party repairs as necessary.

5.

5% : Provides technical assistance and instruction on equipment operation to the end user.

5% : Performs related duties as assigned.

COMPLETION OF WITH PERCENT Minimum Qualifications: Associate's Degree (Required) Additional Job Description: Field of Study: Medical electronics or equivalent military related training Years of experience: Entry Level SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE Anatomy & Physiology and medical terminology, Networks and regulatory standards DESIRED ATTRIBUTES Associates Degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology or equivalent military related training.
