Responsibilities

Drive the execution of the Culture & Communications Strategy pillars & plans addressing all functions/organizational levels in BU.

Actively stay abreast of latest best practices, incident alerts & training materials. Cascade to relevant functions.

Conduct site EHS audits according to annual Audit Plan (across Plants, DCs & Sales) to sustain governance; improve performance & compliance status. Ensure periodic reviews/update of existing EHS programs & practices.

Generate & communicate timely audit reports to Site Management. Align on corrective/preventive action plans & ensure their reflection on myEHS with on-time completion of actions.

Build strong EHS capabilities across sites & functions by developing EHS training material & conducting EHS trainings. Develop critical competencies & training plans for Standard Owners & Auditors across BU to ensure compliance with PepsiCo GEHSMS standards.

Support in defining EHS spend budget (Opex) according to AOP to execute Governance, Culture & Capability agenda in order to mitigate/eliminate EHS risks & drive towards Zero Harm.

Lead continuous improvement of Governance, Culture & Capability agenda through reporting & monitoring KPIs, trend analysis, benchmarking, auditing & supporting operations in setting action plans & ensuring their implementation.

Assist, guide & qualify assigned Plant for the ‘Multi Site Certification’ audit readiness on annual basis.

Partner with EHS function leads on continuous improvement against 38 GEHSMS standards implementation by developing adequate & timely plans to bridge the gap. Collaborate with EHS function leads to operationalize GEHSMS protocols & related updates by developing Tier 3 standards. Ensure development of EHS site-specific programs Tier 4.

Support in digitization & simplification of systems/processes with the use of mobility apps, in addition to myEHS modules as relevant.

Ensure adequate & timely development & communication of incident alerts to relevant stakeholders.

Verify & validate action plans defined by EHS or other functions (from Compliance Audits, L1/L2/L0 incidents, external MSC Audits, etc.) to ensure their effectiveness in order to deliver improvements.

Qualifications

University Grade (Science discipline/ Engineering or equivalent )

More than 2 years experience in factories.

Excellent English language, written and spoken

Advanced Computer Skills

Experience with EHS Trainings & ISO 45001,14001 qualification audits.

Subject Matter Expertise in core risk areas, control systems, and safety regulations

Prior experience leading, mentoring and developing a safety team is an Advantage

Good problem solving, organizational and analytical skills

Good report writing skills

Solid employee relations experience, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
