We're seeking the right candidate for the position of Restorative Aide at Ruleville Community Care Center. In this vital role, you'll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical care and support.
What You Bring to the Table:
Essential Qualifications:
Work in conjunction with Nursing Assistants to provide restorative and rehabilitation services that maintain and improve A.D.L. skills.
Demonstrate knowledge of restorative and rehabilitation programs and resident needs.
Assist team members during the shift to ensure A.D.L. programs are carried out as outlined on the Interdisciplinary Care Plan.
Collaborate with Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists to ensure resident potential is assessed and needs are met daily.
Ensure residents are well-groomed, clean, nourished, and supported in psychosocial needs.
Help maintain a safe, clean, and homelike environment in resident care areas.
Communicate with Licensed Staff and the Director/Assistant Director of Nursing regarding resident needs and observations.
Document all pertinent resident information accurately and timely.
Attend in-services and staff meetings as required.
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements
The Ideal Candidate:
Must hold a valid CNA license and must have completed requirements to become a Restorative Aide in the state of Mississippi
Ability to organize and provide specialty restorative care with assistance of Director/Assistant Director of Nursing and Therapists
Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
Ability to demonstrate good emotional, mental, and physical health having sound judgment and high standards.
Ability and willingness to provide emergency care as needed for any resident in the facility.
Ability and willingness to function as a cooperative team member with each member of the nursing department and other departments.
Ability to communicate, stimulate and provide restorative concepts of geriatric care to/with other team members;.
Ability to adapt to on-the-job training and adhere to standards of the facility providing personal care services, assisting residents, handling, and caring for equipment and supplies and developing good understanding of the basis of aseptic and sterile techniques. Other Qualifications
