About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled General Manager – Finance to lead financial planning, accounting, compliance, and reporting functions across multiple entities. The role requires a strategic finance leader who can ensure financial integrity, manage budgets, and support business growth through sound decision-making and governance.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee financial accounting, budgeting, MIS, statutory compliances, treasury, receivables, and payables.

Maintain accurate books of accounts and publish regular financial statements and management reports.

Monitor cash flows and ensure adequate fund availability across entities.

Develop and implement internal controls, governance frameworks, and budgetary control systems.

Prepare business plans, annual budgets, and monthly variance reports.

Finalize books of accounts and ensure timely audits and statutory filings.

Manage financial operations and compliance for group entities, including trusts and foundations.

Build effective MIS for reporting to senior management and stakeholders.

Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and external partners for financial and regulatory compliance.

Support fundraising efforts and investor reporting by providing relevant financial insights and data.

Candidate Profile

Qualification: MBA/Master’s in Finance or a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

Experience: Minimum 7+ years in finance or corporate finance, preferably in financial services, not-for-profit, or service sectors.

Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of financial planning, controls, and compliance.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Ability to develop effective MIS and financial models.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
