The Department of Development is seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Technical Assistance Analyst to join the Community Service Division’s Technical Assistance team. This position has the unique ability to be at the center of all the Division’s programs, both new and old, providing technical and analytical support- helping offices resolve system issues, test new program functionality, and evaluate program effectiveness. In this program’s support role, you will be helping constituents directly and having a certain depth of IT knowledge is essential for your success. The goal of this team is to make sure all these important programs run smoothly to help Ohio communities be successful.
What you’ll do:
Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support, for all the offices within the Community Services Division.
Collaborate with our internal IT team and program offices to identify, understand, and confirm reported technical issues.
Independently create a plan to a resolution by engaging other department teams.
Develop detailed and/or user-friendly technical manuals for users, on how to navigate technical systems.
Preform technical system test for program in coordination with respective office teams to confirm issue resolution or new program functionality.
Assists in the implementation of research projects that would include but are not limited to evaluating and testing new program features or updates to ensure successful implementation.
Support program evaluation projects, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Assist in the development requests for proposals (RFP) acquire consulting or other services for program evaluations.
