Housekeeper Project Worker (Overnight Shift)

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Housekeeping Project Worker to join our team in a nursing home environment. The ideal candidate must have prior housekeeping experience and be skilled in floor care projects, including scrubbing, stripping, and waxing floors.

Schedule:

Primarily overnight shifts

May occasionally include afternoon (PM) shifts as needed

Must also be available to assist with snow shoveling during the winter months

Responsibilities:

Perform floor care projects such as scrubbing, stripping, and waxing floors

Pick up residents’ clothing and deliver them to the laundry area

Perform regular housekeeping duties as needed, including mopping and cleaning

Wash rags and Hoyer pads during the PM or overnight shift to be ready for use in the morning

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents and staff

Requirements:

Proven experience in housekeeping or environmental services

Ability to perform detailed project work safely and efficiently

Dependable, professional, and able to work independently

Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and resident care
