Position Overview
A global manufacturing company located in Fairfield, Ohio is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated HR Assistant to support daily human resources and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Japanese, with strong communication skills and prior HR or administrative experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Support daily HR operations including employee records, onboarding, and documentation
• Assist with recruitment, interview coordination, and new hire paperwork
• Process employee changes, maintain HR databases, and ensure accuracy of information
• Communicate with employees and management regarding company policies and benefits
• Provide administrative support including filing, scheduling, and correspondence
• Prepare HR-related reports and assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of work experience (HR experience preferred)
• Associate degree or higher in Human Resources, General Administration, or Business (preferred)
• Bilingual English/Japanese required (English: native level; Japanese: business fluent, JLPT N3 or N2 preferred)
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Compensation & Benefits
• Hourly Rate: $20 – $22/hour (based on experience)
