As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will support the upkeep, safety, and operations of our aerospace facility. You'll gain hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance tasks while contributing to the smooth operation of rover production, testing, and logistics. This role is designed for someone eager to learn, take ownership, and thrive in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
*This is a temporary position for up to six months, depending on project timelines.
What You'll Do
Perform plumbing, electrical, framing, and repair work
Support machining, welding, and fabrication tasks
Assist with rover test equipment and shop upkeep
Organize and track tools, parts, and consumables
Document inspections, maintenance, and repairs
Use tools such as welders, multimeters, calipers, and crimpers
Conduct daily and weekly safety checks and inspections
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
Support shipping, receiving, and heavy equipment moves
Safely drive a truck and trailer for logistics support
Operate a forklift (certification required)
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and vendors
What You'll Bring
3+ years of facilities maintenance or related hands-on experience
Background in plumbing, wiring, welding, machining, or automotive mechanics
Aerospace warehouse or facilities experience is a plus
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, or drawings
Familiarity with shop tools, inventory management, and maintenance systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Interest in aerospace and facility operations
