Job Description

Reworld is hiring CDL A local truck drivers in Portage, IN. Drivers are responsible for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and client sites. Reworld is leading the charge to a carbon-negative future through revolutionary sustainable materials management solutions that reduce, reuse, recycle and reimagine waste for the benefit of society and the environment.

Compensation

Average weekly pay: $27.00/hr

50 hours per week, OT included

Bonuses:

$2,500 unlimited driver referral bonus

Home time: Home daily

Coverage areas: Mainly Milwaukee, Indy, St Louis, Detroit

Schedule: Monday-Friday, some weekends

Day shift, 10-12 hour shifts

Level of touch: touch freight

Equipment:

~ 2010 Freightliner Coronado s122

Vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, flatbeds, and Roll off

drivers must be flexible as trucks change with customer needs

Manual transmission

Qualifications

Must have valid CDL A License

Must be at least 21 years old (required for interstate commercial driving per federal regulations)

Minimum of 2 years of Class A commercial driving experience, including tanker experience

Tanker required

No automatic restriction

Acceptable driving record

Must have current medical card within 6 months

High School Diploma or GED

Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb for extended periods

Ability to grip, reach, push, pull, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces

Willingness to work in a variety of weather conditions

Adequate vision and hearing to safely perform job duties

Must be located within 25 miles of Portage, IN
