Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Dock Assembler/Shipping Clerk on the 1st shift, where you will play a vital role in receiving and preparing orders for production. This role involves working closely with a small team to ensure efficient operations in our bustling facility.
Responsibilities
Receive shipments of foam and wood products and match them for production.
Work within a small team to unload trucks and prepare items for assembly.
Use air-powered staple guns and utility knives to cut materials to specification.
Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
Essential Skills
Attention to detail and ability to stay focused on tasks.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Ability to work well within a small team environment.
Comfort with physical tasks and being on feet most of the day.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Carpentry or upholstery experience.
Prior experience in foam manufacturing.
Knowledge of working with vinyl material.
Industrial sewing skills.
Mechanical aptitude and experience in material handling.

Work Environment
The facility is bustling with 70 employees working across various departments like Sewing, Assembly, Shipping, and Quality. While some areas are climate-controlled, others can be loud and non-climate controlled. The plant offers a casual dress code, and the work environment is clean and spacious. You will work in a collaborative team with flexible work hours, typically from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westerville, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
