Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (32 hours/week)

Hourly Rate: £12.41/hour

A day in the life of a General Assistant:

Oversee hospitality bookings and logistics for fine dining, conferences, and events

Produce costed hospitality proposals with the Head Chef and liaise with clients

Champion excellent guest experience and maintain high service standards

Support restaurant operations during quieter hospitality periods (e.g., tills, serving, stock take)

Prepare grab-and-go items like sandwiches and paninis

Operate tills, handle cash, and maintain financial records

Serve hot and cold drinks and food while adhering to food safety and health regulations

Maintain cleanliness in both front and back of house areas

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

Legal right to work in the UK and have resided in the UK for the past 3 years

Ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks

Previous hospitality or food service experience (desirable)

A passion for customer service and teamwork
